High School Musical Parent Letter Feb 24, 2008

Parents,

We have almost made it through the first month of rehearsals! Yeah! Everyone has been working hard at learning the choreography (and hopefully their lines and songs at home). Here are a few reminders and updates for you!

1. If your child is having a hard time with the choreography, we will be posting the dances on-line. We're all in this together is posted here.


2. Reminder: Materials fee of $30 is due on Feb. 28th!!!!

3. Reminder: Cookie Dough Orders are due on Feb. 28th!!!!

4. Reminder: If you are ordering a cheerleading or jock costume to keep, payment of $40 is due on Feb. 28th!

5. Reminder: It is important that your child behaves during rehearsals - if they are not behaving, we will ask that the parent stay at ALL rehearsals.

6. Wondering what day your child's performance will be? Check here for performance dates.

7. If your child would like to see a performance of the play before we perform, Billinghurst Middle School will have their show next month. For more info click here.

8. Rehearsals on Monday and Wednesday will be in the gym - but Tuesday will be in the cafeteria (HWY 95 entrance)

Want a chance to see the play before we do it? Billinghurst Middle School will be performing High School Musical On Stage March 7th and March 8th.

Where:Billinghurst Middle School, 6685 Chesterfield Lane.

When: Mar 7 and Mar 8, 2008

Time: 7:00 PM on Mar 7th and Noon and 7:00 PM on Mar. 8th

Cost: $10 reserved seating $7 general admission

I've finally got the casts posted! There were over 280 kids who auditioned! We have a total of 8 casts which are posted below. The casting decisions were very difficult as we have a lot of talented kids here in Fernley! All of the parts are extremely important - from the smallest cheerleader to the main characters.

There are a lot of casts - so check them all to find your name!

With this many kids it is easy to make mistakes - please call me if you don't see your name at 575-1953.
