Roald Dahl’s timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir comes to life onstage this week in Fernley. Featuring the songs from the classic family film “Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory,” (including “The Candy Man” and “Pure Imagination”) in this show overflows with music, comedy and heart.The Kids Take the Stage production of “Willy Wonka Jr.” opens Friday, August 1 at FES Cafeteria and closes Aug. 2, for a total of four performances.
